An E-book is a electronic version of a text document that can easily be downloaded from the internet or sent via email.
If you have any information that is helpful for the audience, then why shouldn't you put it in eBook form. You can either sell it for profit or offer it for free.

Make it into a traffic magnet
E-book are commonly only created to provide information to the reader. Your main goal is to include your website during the E-book, but not just include use it as a tool to help the reader. Your website should have a section devoted towards your E-book content, when your explaining something in your e-book, you may want to provide a external link to another site, include your link instead, so the reader can get to your site, and then click on the link. Maybe even offer a video on that section, for the people that need a better interpretation. Just use your brain and develop ways in which your able to drive your reader to your site constantly awhile they are reading through your e-book.
