If you have unique content and interesting site, then you should be bringing in at least 200 unique visitors per day for about 3 days, after that the traffic will dry up unless many people voted "Thumbs Up" on your site. Now, your probably wondering why it only lasts for 3 days or so, well new sites are put into the rotation more frequently, once they have rotated for about 3 days they become like any other site. Now, the only way for you keep this type of traffic constant is if you get daily " Thumbs Up's" for your site. Which means the visitor was happy with what the saw regarding your website. If you can recieve around 25 "Thumbs Up" for your site, then you should still be seeing a good traffic count daily, though not as near as the starter 200. I know a person who recieves 2000 unique visitors per day from Stumbleupon, imagine if you could generate the same amount.

How to get people to stumble your site

When someone says " Stumble my site", it means to visit their site, and click on the "Thumbs Up" icon on your toolbar. So, you need ways to get people to stumble your site. Well the honest way, is for visitors to do that themselves without anyone asking them. But again, if your going to try it that method, not much traffic will appear. What you need is a site or forum, that acts as an exchange of stumbling. By that I mean, lets say you stumble someone's site, that person has to stumble your site. These work perfectly, and will help in increasing your traffic through stumbleupon.
